Guiding
Day Guiding – I offer my services as a bird guide on a daily basis and also on pre booked birding tours. I am based in West Cork but I can join clients in all regions of Ireland. I cater for all levels of experience starting from the complete beginner who might need help with basic ID skills, through to experienced birders who want to get the best from a birding vacation and need help with species and site location or travel arrangements.
- I am available by the day at a charge of Eur 100 per seven hour day plus Eur 10 per person. In addition, any other expenses such as overnight accommodation or ferry costs are also charged.
- I offer a pick up and return service to and from your accommodation.
- I will quote a firm price on receipt of an enquiry.
- I accept bookings at short notice by telephone, but prefer to receive as much notice as possible.
Guided tours – The cost will depend on the number of people in the party and the standard of accommodation chosen. Each tour has a different cost depending on the number of days chosen. Basically the increase in the number of clients will result in a reduction in the cost per person. This type of tour has to be arranged in advance and all the travel and accommodation arrangements are handled by my partner company. Please enquire as early as possible and we will quote you a firm cost based on the days, area chosen, your accommodation requirements and the number in the party. Although concentrating on birds these tours also aim to give clients a good all-round vacation in Ireland.
